So after losing Mancha, adopting and then having to surrender Cali (who is now "Bonnie" living in her forever home with a pal named Clyde) and then shortly later losing Ace, we have FINALLY found the right outdoor dog for all of us. Aunt Beth knew someone who had rescued this dog from surrender to a shelter because the man could not take care of him. We learned about him before all of the hurricanes as the foster mom was not in a hurry to get ride of him. Then one of her dominant male dogs began to chew him up and be mean, so she decided to look for a home more seriously. Aunt Beth was dog-sitting him one weekend and we went to see him, and that's the end of the story!!! He came home with us and went to the pet store that day to get his camo collar and some treats. His foster mom had taught him to walk on leash, sit and stay down. He is very calm and sweet. He LOVES truck rides anywhere, and he REALLY LOVES running alongside the tractor and 4-wheeler. Oh, and if you visit, warm up your arm as he plays at least three games of intense tennis ball fetch daily! He is GREAT with the children and careful with Garrett. He is considered a White Lab. Come meet your new granddog, Nina!! Hope Consuela can find it in her heart to be sweet to Remi even when he sniffs her!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO sorry I have been so bad about updating this!! I fully intend to add a couple of times per week, but I have not been getting it done lately!! All's great here. We are certainly enjoying the temperature falling below the 90s and even into the 50's at night!!! Addie is enjoying the outdoors now that is isn't so exhausting for her with the cooler weather. I will post tons of photos tonight and be brief with the words as the photos are much better than anything I can describe that goes on around here!! Addie got her orange belt in Tae Kwon Do a couple of weeks ago. That's the second belt. She was proud!! Now my computer is going nuts, so I will pray this post makes it and try to attach more photos later!! Love to all!!

Addie had a sleep study done a few weeks ago. Great for her, her lungs, heart and airways are all working perfectly at night!! She did, however, had some strange things going on as far as her phases of sleep and lots of jumping around of phases which isn't normal, but we are waiting to hear from the doctor to follow-up more on that!

Addie was a real trooper to sleep in all of that stuff!! At least there were no needles involved!!
