Last week Addie went out to help me with the horses, and Ernie was resting. She loved having her photo made with her big baby!! Ernie is just beginning to get back in shape after a two month layoff in a huge grassy pasture!! He is now getting into shape nicely, working the barrels for Addie and moving quickly toward another fun timed event show season!!
Addie is here with her classmate, Clay, her aunt's dog. He is a cutie and LOVES to be in the middle of school. Clay and his human mommy are living with us for a while. He hasn't learned to write well yet, but he has mastered helping the girls have an excuse for not doing their work by sitting right in the middle of their pages of school work!!!
Ainslee had a BLAST last week at the 4-H livestock show's stick horse rodeo. She won barrels and took a second in roping, bareback and bull riding. She and her girlfriends could not have been any more at home on their horses!!! And we had LOTS of laughs watching it all!!
Wow, Pop got them their favorite, LANTERNS!!!! We had lots of fun camping last year and hope to go again soon. Pop and Nina made the drive her for the 7th year to be here Christmas eve and day. How special it was to celebrate with them in our home. We miss them!!!
The night before the stick horse rodeo last week, there was a dog and cat show. Addie took Camper, her new puppy, and Ainslee showed Aunt Becca's dog, Clay. They had lots of fun and were so proud to show off the pets!!

This is one of my favorite photos ever. Addie found out she could run on water!!! This was also at Pensacola. She looks so free and was so thrilled to be out at the beach while it wasn't sweltering hot.
